An Evening At The Park

It’s been close to 15 years since I last wore a watch, but the lovely people at Daniel Wellington offered to send me one, and wearing it made me remember how terribly handy they are. And elegant too!

Natural History

Cubbon Park is such a pretty place. The heat let up for the first time in days with a thunderstorm as we were shooting in the bamboo grove.

Pixie

If you follow me on Instagram, you might have seen that my hair’s gone! I’m just so delighted and relieved, I couldn’t deal with having that much hair anymore.

Midweek Casual

It was a comfy baggy jumper and messy hair sort of day. I really love this look, it’s the kind of casual yet pulled together sort of thing I rarely ever seem to do!

Red Velvet Christmas

Some photos from Christmas dinner with pals at Zuri yesterday. I wore a very old Miss Patina dress that I had been saving through the last 3 Christmasses, my long beloved vintage hat from Dalena Vintage, and trusty Bass loafers.

Illumination

This is an outfit I’ve wanted to blog for a while now – a mix of old favourites and new. This botanical top by Glamorous has been one of my best buys in recent times, the print reminds me so much of medieval illuminations!

DIY Gold Autumn Crown

Here are some step by step instructions to make your own gold autumn crown! I’d say it’s a level 2 DIY, mostly because things can get fiddly if you’re using dried bay leaves like I did, or other dried organic matter – leaves, flowers, twigs – they tend to split if you’re not too careful.
